Maintenance on the new centre at Taman Johor Jaya
An update from the building committee on what maintenance is neccessary for the four-storey centre.
The building committee gives a short update, and this is the written version for anyone who could not be there.
Where things stand
The meditation hall occupies the upper floor, with classrooms for the children's programme below it and a kitchen sized for festival days.
What is still needed
Repainting and roof leakage remains the largest outstanding cost. Contributions to the building fund can be earmarked separately from general giving — mention it when you contribute and it will be recorded that way.
As always, there is no target published on a board and no thermometer chart on the wall. Give if you are able to, and please do not give beyond your means.
